Reboil : When activate the REBOIL switch, water will be heated up from preset keep warm temperature to boiling temperature in five minutes maximum. Empty boil protection : The circuit of the appliance is equipped with empty boil protection to prevent over-heating. When the tank is empty and at boiling mode, the empty boil protection will be switched on. However, a burnt mark may be resulted at the inner wall of the tank. Detachable lid : One can detach the lid by pressing down the mechanical lock at the hinge and at the same time pull out the lid at the range of 25° to 45°. Heater : When the appliance does not work, check the electrical circuit and the heater resistance. To measure the heater resistance : Disconnect all the wires to the heater terminals A, B and C. Use a ohm meter to measure the main heater terminal AB, the resistance should be 56 ohm ± 5%. Use a ohm meter to measure the keep wa r m h e a t e r t e r m i n a l AC, t h e resistance range should be at 529 ohm ± 5%. If the resistance of any of the heater exceeds the above resistance ranges, the appliance has to be replaced.
